Dr. Mikael MacKinney, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and founder of Beachside Health Direct Primary Care.

A Missouri native, Dr. MacKinney graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2012, and completed training at the University of Missouri Kansas City Family Medicine Residency in 2015. He then moved to Northwest Florida where he spent over a decade in a hospital owned medical group. Dr MacKinney places a high value on giving patients the time they deserve, which led to a transition to a direct primary care model.

In his free time, Dr. MacKinney enjoys the outdoors, hiking the state forest, spending time on the beach or paddleboarding.

But most of all he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and daughters (and their cat)
